Fox Chapel defeats Peters Township girls in quarterfinals

The Fox Chapel girls soc­cer team ral­lied from a 1-0 half­time def­i­cit with five goals in the sec­ond half to up­set Peters Town­ship, 5-1, in a WPIAL Class 4A quar­ter­fi­nal game played Thurs­day at Peters Town­ship.

Fox Chapel (11-4-2) was seeded No. 6 in the eight-team bracket, while Peters Town­ship (14-2-2) was seeded No. 3.

Fresh­man Emily McKee scored two goals for the Foxes, while Kate Fri­day, Mad­die Grimsley and Tay­lor Wilkin­son scored once each.
